1. How do you believe your design relates to the corporate Identity of your company identity?

Starbucks works to create a comforting and homey environment inside their stores. I feel the design I made is easily recognizable and creates a joyous ambiance.

2. How does your cup portray the “holiday"?

I approached the cup design by incorporating New Years Eve, more specifically, a NYC skyline featuring the famous ball.

3. Do you think that the company you designed for would really use your cup? Why or why not?

Honestly, I do not believe Starbucks would really use my design. This is because the history of holiday cups has used "winter" designs that incorporate snowflakes, trees, etc, on red cups. My design features a gold color that's never been

used before.

4. What makes your Cup Unique and Different?

My cup is unique and different because it features a distinctive gold gradient that helps the black skyline pop. I created a custom made ingredient checklist to partner with the NYC design. I also designed a java jacket that says "Happy Holidays".

5. Describe the process in which you took to create the cup? (From beginning to end)

I began with a design that featured the Starbucks logo as the ball and the city on the bottom with confetti and stars on the top. When considering elements of design, it made more sense to create a radial pattern around the logo that gave emphasis to the logo itself. After completing the radial design, the cup had a lot of blank space that had to be filled. I used an existing, n

on-holiday cup as inspiration for the ingredient checklist. To maintain the holiday feel, I used a handwritten, script font that I later used for the java jacket.
